Portraits can help convey the depth of a subject’s personality and can truly express the emotions of the day. At A Painted Life, any digital picture, image, or photograph with good resolution can be turned into your own handmade customized artwork.

During your consultation, A Painted Life’s artist can help you narrow your photograph selection. In addition, the artist can help you determine if there are any minor improvements that the photograph may need, including but not limited to cropping-out unnecessary scenes or items and/or changing the background of the painting.

Even though our artists mainly use oil on canvas, acrylic custom paintings are also available. Additionally, custom canvas sizes are available. Just ask one of A Painted Life’s artists when you are submitting your request.
